Priyanka Chopra may be seen playing 12 different roles in a forthcoming film. Reportedly each of her characters has been inspired from the different characteristics of the 12 zodiac signs.

The shooting for the film — Ashutosh Gowariker’s What’s Your Raashee? — will begin from October, says a source from the industry.

The source adds, “Ashutosh hasn’t disclosed much on what he wants to do but as far as the talks are concerned, there’s a huge possibility that Priyanka Chopra will play 12 different characters in the film. Each one of them will have a trait that is associated with people belonging to a particular raashee.”

In astrology 12 zodiac signs are divided into categories like Fire, Air Earth and Water. The fire signs are Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, the air signs are Libra, Aquarius and Gemini, earth signs are Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo and water sings include Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.

Priyanka neither accepted nor denied the possibility. “I don’t want to comment anything on it. I think it’s too early to talk about this film,” she said.

If this actually happens, it would be an interesting proposition for the audience. The film is Ashutosh’s first foray into romantic comedy genre as a director. The plot of the film deals with the tradition of arranged marriage.

What’s Your Raashee? is inspired from US based Gujarati writer Madhu Rye’s novel Kimball Ravenswood in which the author creates a wide array of characters and sets up some devilishly comical plots through the novel.
